SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A Bexar County judge on Monday amended bond conditions for Armando Flores, the former Holy Cross coach accused of multiple instances of invasive visual recording<\/a>, allowing him to have contact with his children.<\/p>\n Flores, 34, has been released on bond since Oct. 29. But according to online court records, a judge agreed to a motion to amend his conditions of release so that he is allowed to have contact with his daughter; he still must be supervised while meeting with minors.\u00a0<\/p>\n Flores was first arrested Oct. 7 after San Antonio police said they found a hidden camera<\/a> disguised as an alarm clock inside his office at Holy Cross. Investigators alleged the device had recorded another coach undressing. Days later, Flores was arrested again<\/a> after police reported recovering thumbnail images from a micro SD card that appeared to show a 13-year-old girl changing clothes in the same office.<\/p>\n Arrest documents also stated that two deacons were captured undressing on the same device. Investigators further reported discovering text messages from 2023 that Flores allegedly sent to a student, described in documents as sexual in nature. No additional charges have been filed related to those messages.<\/p>\n After his first arrest, Flores told media he was innocent and that \u201cthe truth will come out.\u201d<\/p>\n Holy Cross leadership has previously said the school is cooperating fully with the investigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe continue to cooperate with all efforts to identify every victim so the Holy Cross family can support them with professional counseling, emotional support, and our prayers,\u201d principal Dr. Rene Escobedo said in the October statement.<\/p>\n Flores is due to return to court on Jan. 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Armando Flores has been out on bond since late October amid the ongoing investigation.
