An autopsy later revealed he suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Large-steve-weigensberg11-24-2025-20-37-58.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Another man, Juan Medina, 53, was also located unconscious in the utility room. Police said it was determined he sustained a single gunshot wound to the head, and authorities said he fatally shot Weigensberg before shooting himself. <\/p>\n<p>Weigensberg was a supervisor at the apartment complex, and Medina worked there as an employee. Authorities said the shooting was isolated in nature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Weigensberg&#8217;s family issued the following statement on Monday: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We respectfully request privacy during this profoundly difficult time. Our husband and father, a devoted man who leaves behind a widow and his two school-aged sons, is deeply mourned by us.<\/p>\n<p>We strongly condemn the violence that has caused such irreplaceable loss, and call upon our community to join in rejecting gun-violence in all its forms.
