They’ve now signed to Island Records imprint Adventures Recordings and will release their first EP for the label, So Much Country ‘Till We Get There, on January 16. The record was made with producer Loren Humphreys (Cameron Winter, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey).

There are two songs you can listen to now, both of which fall squarely in the British indie tradition of noisy guitars and pop melodies. “Can’t See,” the second single, was the first song they recorded for the new EP. They say: “It’s a short one, but we feel like we fit everything in: a riff, some verses, some choruses, Conga breakdown and some other stuff. We like songs that feel like they are going somewhere, cycling, driving, pogoing, but this one’s definitely a runner. Whether that’s towards you or with you, I guess that would be up to the listener to decide.” Watch the video for that and “Don’t Throw Rocks” — and listen to their first EP — below.

Westside Cowboy will be in the US in December for a couple small club showcases: NYC’s Night Club 101 on 12/10 and LA’s Scribble on 12/15.
