PHOENIX \u2013 Authorities issued a SAFE Alert on Tuesday morning for a 61-year-old Phoenix woman who went missing the previous afternoon.<\/p>\n

Raquel Zamorano was last seen on foot near 16th Street and Osborn Road<\/a> around 1 p.m. Monday.<\/p>\n

She was wearing a brown jacket, pink shirt and black pants.<\/p>\n

Zamorano, who is Native American, is described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall and 135 pounds, with brown\/gray hair and brown eyes.<\/p>\n

She suffers from a medical condition that can cause her to become confused or easily lost, according to the missing persons bulletin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Anybody with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 602-534-2121 or 602-262-6151 after hours.<\/p>\n

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts<\/a> in Arizona as way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental\/cognitive disabilities.<\/p>\n
