The Phoenix Mercury followed up their rebrand<\/a> on Monday with new uniforms on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Phoenix revealed a white \u201cHeroine\u201d and a purple \u201cExplorer\u201d uniform set with shoulder straps that pay homage to the franchise\u2019s earlier looks. <\/p>\n

The white jerseys feature purple shoulders<\/a>, while the purple tops include lighter purple shoulder straps. Several iterations of Phoenix\u2019s uniforms have presented different-colored shoulders, including the team\u2019s first look in 1997 and its most recent championship-winning squad in 2014.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Both new jerseys include the updated wordmarks with new logos on the shorts. The shorts are reminiscent of the 1990s Phoenix Suns with angled orange lines.<\/p>\n

Additionally, there is a small patch with a silver \u201c3\u201d on the back neckline to highlight Phoenix\u2019s three WNBA championships.<\/p>\n

The new jerseys are keeping two sponsors displayed prominently with \u201cFlipper\u2019s\u201d on the left shoulder and \u201cFry\u2019s\u201d below the numbers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Mercury have sported black, orange and red alternate uniforms in the past, most recently a black \u201cPHX\u201d jersey, but the team has not announced an alternate look at this time.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the Mercury released their first logos overhaul featuring the \u201cM\u201d in the middle of planet Mercury with a crescent-shaped shadow, replacing the previous rings.<\/p>\n

Phoenix has new alternate logos, as well, with \u201cMERC\u201d in the middle of an outline of Arizona with basketball seams across the state and a \u201cPHX\u201d mark over a black background.<\/p>\n

The organization opted to switch up its look entering its 30th season of action, as Phoenix is one of the eight original WNBA teams. The Mercury are coming off a trip to the WNBA Finals, led by star players Alyssa Thomas, Kahleah Copper and Satou Sabally.<\/p>\n
