The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be moderated by David Martin Davies, host of TPR\u2019s \u201cThe Source\u201d and \u201cTexas Matters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the last three decades, Hollandsworth has dug into and explored the state\u2019s most memorable true-crime cases, highlighting female perpetrators in his latest book. The collection features stories ranging from a teen who poisoned her father\u2019s refried beans to a nurse accused of killing patients in a small town. Each chapter includes updated reporting and archival black-and-white photos.<\/p>\n<p>The event is part of the San Antonio Book Festival\u2019s year-round <a href=\"https:\/\/sabookfestival.org\/event\/get-lit-with-skip-hollandsworth\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Get Lit Author Series.<\/a> A book signing will follow the conversation at 7:30 p.m., with sales provided by the Nowhere Bookshop.
