Dancing With the Stars will soon be crowning its Season 34 winner! By the end of tonight\u2019s three-hour-long special, ABC\u2019s beloved dance competition series will award its mirror ball trophy to the couple with the most votes. Elaine Hendrix, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles and Robert Irwin will all be taking the stage for their final dances of the season.<\/p>\n
The Season 34 finale will be the first of its kind: Cohost Alfonso Ribeiro revealed during the Nov. 18 episode that the finale will see the stars perform three dance routines: a Judges\u2019 Choice, an Instant Dance (to a surprise song on live TV) and a freestyle routine.<\/p>\n
\u201cNext week, we\u2019re taking over all of ABC in primetime with our most demanding season finale in the history of the show,\u201d Ribeiro told the audience. \u201cFor the first time, we\u2019ll have three rounds of competition.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the winner of the mirror ball trophy will ultimately be crowned on Tuesday night, Robert Irwin and his partner, Witney Carson, appear to be a clear fan favorite this season. Irwin, the son of the beloved \u201cCrocodile Hunter,\u201d Steve Irwin<\/a>, who died in 2006 at 44 years old, emerged as a strong contender from the get-go \u2014 and has consistently scored at the top of the leaderboard. The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist also hit a notable milestone in Week 9 of the competition when he earned his first perfect score \u2014 40\/40 \u2014 of the season. Even Prince William<\/a> is rooting for him!<\/p>\n In terms of social engagement, Irwin\u2019s fan base also appears to be one of the season\u2019s strongest \u2014 which could result in him receiving the most votes on finale night.<\/p>\n Irwin, however, has been struggling physically, according to Carson. On Monday, the Dancing With the Stars pro revealed in a video on TikTok<\/a> that Irwin was experiencing pain in his ribs. While she kept things brief, Carson did hint at more details being revealed during the finale.<\/p>\n “Robert’s ribs have been killing him, and more will be revealed on Tuesday,” she said.<\/p>\n If Irwin wins the mirror ball trophy tonight, it\u2019ll mark the second time an Irwin has won the reality TV dance competition: His older sister, Bindi Irwin, won Season 21 of Dancing With the Stars in 2015 with her pro-dancer partner, Derek Hough.<\/p>\n Who is the current underdog of \u2018Dancing With the Stars\u2019 Season 34?<\/p>\n There isn\u2019t a clear underdog this season, though if we\u2019re going based on semifinals scores, it seems Dylan Efron and his partner, Daniella Karagach, take the spot. On semifinals night, Efron and Karagach scored the lowest among the couples, with a combined score of 55\/60 for their dances.<\/p>\n That\u2019s not to say that the Traitors contestant hasn\u2019t had his share of standout performances, though: In Week 5, Efron, the younger brother of actor Zac Efron, dedicated a heartwarming contemporary dance<\/a> to their sister, Olivia, who even joined him onstage<\/a>.
