The \u00a0evening\u2019s program will feature a fireside chat with Dr. Eric Topol, noted cardiologist, founder and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute and New York Times bestselling author of Super Agers, which explores the science of longevity and resilience.<\/p>\n<p>The second fireside chat, guided by award-winning journalist Meryl Comer, will bring together Emma Willis and Mary Lou Falcone, who will discuss dementia from the caregivers\u2019 perspective.<\/p>\n<p>Event Leadership<\/p>\n<p>The event is led by Host Committee Chair Muffy Walker, alongside a dedicated \u00a0committee of San-Diego area and national community leaders committed to advancing \u00a0brain health:Christine Aylward, Meryl Comer, Nicole Frank, Betsy Gleijeses, Candise Holmlund, Kristy Johnson, \u00a0Kelli Karches, Sandy Morgan, Robin Nordhoff, Yanina Odin, Lisa Parnall, Ann Reed, Raquel Rogers, Karen Segal, Karen Tanz, Maggie Watkins, Wendy Walker.<\/p>\n<p>Honorary Co-Chairs<\/p>\n<p>The event committee will recognize the event\u2019s Honorary Co-Chairs, whose leadership and advocacy help drive progress toward a world without Alzheimer\u2019s:Ren\u00e9e Fleming, world-renowned soprano and global arts and health advocate; Mandy Moore, actress\/singer and advocate for alzheimer\u2019s and brain health; David Hyde Pierce, acclaimed actor and longtime alzheimer\u2019s advocate.<\/p>\n<p>The committee states in the news release that it extends \u201csincere gratitude\u201d to the event\u2019s early supporters and sponsors, including Cognitive \u00a0Wellness Sponsor Ann Reed, Karen and Stuart Tanz, and Brain Booster Sponsors The Glen at Scripps Ranch and \u00a0La Costa Glen Carlsbad, Sandy and Jesse Morgan, Muffy Walker, Wendy Walker, Surinder and Masood Tayebi\/Bridgewest Group, and Global Brain Trust.<\/p>\n<p>The Jan. 29 event will be held at The Alexandria at Torrey Pines, 10996 Torreyana Rd, San Diego, 92121.
