Seeking Sister Wife<\/a> star Garrick Merrifield<\/a><\/strong> was arrested months after welcoming a baby girl with his new wife\u2014and only a week after announcing his daughter’s birth.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Nov. 25, TMZ<\/a> reported that the TLC<\/a> star was arrested on Monday, Nov. 24, in Chaffee County, Colo. He has since bonded out of jail.<\/p>\n

Garrick faces a charge of telephone-obstruct service, according to online court records. However, a jail spokesperson told TMZ he was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence.<\/p>\n

Parade reached out to TLC for comment but did not immediately hear back.<\/p>\n

In Season 6 of Seeking Sister Wife, viewers saw Garrick and his wife, Dannielle Merrifield<\/a><\/strong>, welcome another wife, Lorrana<\/strong>, into the family<\/a>.<\/p>\n

TLC revealed via Instagram<\/a> on Nov. 17 that Garrick and Loranna welcomed a baby girl. Baby Sarah<\/strong> was born on July 3.<\/a> Additionally, Garrick and Dannielle share three children, teenage sons Geremiah<\/strong> and Solomon<\/strong>, and a younger daughter, Leia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On Reddit<\/a>, Seeking Sister Wife fans reacted to Garrick’s arrest and speculated about the situation. One user wrote, “I bet Roberta<\/strong> and Natalia<\/strong> and all the other women are so glad they left,” of the Merrifields’ previous, potential sister<\/a> wives.<\/p>\n

Another Redditor admitted, “I did not see this coming!”<\/p>\n

Someone else shared, “Whaaat? That\u2019s something people get arrested for? I\u2019d love to read a police report,” to which a second pointed out, “It’s the charge for when you prevent someone from calling 911 for help.”<\/p>\n

A different Reddit user commented, “Oooooooh weeee! I knew there was something weird with them always wanting someone who couldn\u2019t communicate with them, and they NEVER learned Portuguese!”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, yet another fan predicted, “TLC will likely remove them from the show for this.”<\/p>\n
