In fact, a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1111\/sms.14628\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1111\/sms.14628\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"study\" data-node-id=\"24.1\" class=\"body-link css-7bauu1 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">study<\/a> found that regular squat breaks (specifically, three minutes of squatting every 45 minutes to break up prolonged periods of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/fat-loss\/a65539711\/how-to-sit-less-desk-job-movement-hacks\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/fat-loss\/a65539711\/how-to-sit-less-desk-job-movement-hacks\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"sitting\" data-node-id=\"24.3\" class=\"body-link css-7bauu1 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">sitting<\/a>) were more effective for blood glucose regulation than one continuous 30-minute walk.  <\/p>\n<p>Related Story<strong data-node-id=\"26.0\">Lunge<\/strong><img src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1764154706_553_poster.jpg\" alt=\"Image no longer available\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/> <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"30\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Vogue also included lunges in her group workout, which, again, can be performed easily at home with no equipment (or using a household object, for example, a water bottle as weight). <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"32\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Lunges are an effective bodyweight exercise for strengthening your back, hips and legs, as well as supporting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/strength-training\/a708496\/mobility\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/strength-training\/a708496\/mobility\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"mobility\" data-node-id=\"32.1\" class=\"body-link css-7bauu1 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">mobility<\/a>, stability, balance and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/a66099791\/posture-walking-health-trend\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/a66099791\/posture-walking-health-trend\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"posture\" data-node-id=\"32.3\" class=\"body-link css-7bauu1 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">posture<\/a>.
