The airport expects its busiest days to be Wednesday and Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>As of Wednesday morning, no cancellations had been reported at San Antonio International Airport, according to FlightAware. Airport officials say they do not anticipate disruptions and expect operations to run smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>To help ease the travel experience, the airport is reminding passengers of several tips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reserve parking ahead of time in the garage or Economy Green Lot.<\/li>\n<li>Use the garage\u2019s QR code system to link your license plate to your payment method and exit quickly.<\/li>\n<li>If you park in the garages, you can also check your bags at the tunnel connecting the short-term garage to the terminal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Travelers arriving early Wednesday said they were prepared for crowds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were just told it was the calm before the storm, so we were prepared to get here a couple of hours before our flight,\u201d said Judge Rosie Speedlin Gonzalez. \u201cWe Uber\u2019d because we\u2019ve tried parking before and it takes forever to find a spot \u2014 like 45 minutes \u2014 so it\u2019s a lot easier to take an Uber.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The airport recommends arriving two hours before boarding, especially if you plan to valet or park on-site. Passengers are also encouraged to review TSA guidelines regarding liquids, food, and electronics to avoid delays at security checkpoints.<\/p>\n<p>Before leaving home, officials urge travelers to check with their airline to confirm their flight status and ensure there are no delays or cancellations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"San Antonio International Airport expects 137,000 travelers through Dec. 1 and don&#8217;t expect any major disruptions.
