A 33-year-old man died after being shot Monday afternoon in Dallas, police said.<\/p>\n

Brandon Brown was shot<\/a> around 1:25 p.m. in the 9600 block of Clark Road<\/a> in Southwest Dallas. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died, the DPD Beat reported on November 25.<\/p>\n

Dallas police responded to the shooting call and launched an investigation. They have not released any information about a suspect or a motive for the shooting. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective J. Conklin at 214-671-3646 or [email\u00a0protected]<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The case is being documented under #169064-2025.<\/p>\n

The shooting marks<\/a> the 11th homicide this month and the 127th this year in Dallas, per the City\u2019s Crime Analytics dashboard<\/a>, as violent crime continues to impact neighborhoods across the metroplex.<\/p>\n

Three separate shooting incidents over the weekend claimed the lives of three people and injured multiple others, as The Dallas Express<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Police Department\u2019s efforts to combat violent crime continue to be hampered by a chronic shortage of police officers, and the City has yet to meet the standards mandated by Dallas voters through Proposition U<\/a>, passed last year.
