The Texas Department of Transportation\u2019s travel forecasts show when and where traffic is expected to be heaviest across key corridors in the San Antonio area. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">On Tuesday, TxDOT officials said the interchange at Loop 1604 and Interstate 10 would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2025\/11\/25\/loop-1604-and-i-10-interchange-lanes-will-fully-open-thanksgiving-weekend-txdot-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2025\/11\/25\/loop-1604-and-i-10-interchange-lanes-will-fully-open-thanksgiving-weekend-txdot-says\/\">be open for the Thanksgiving weekend<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">On Monday, Dec. 1, standard closures will resume before the lanes open again on Dec. 19.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">From Dec. 19 to Jan. 4, the lanes will be open for both the Christmas and New Year\u2019s holidays.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Subject to change, the lanes will remain open for 22 days through the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Check the graphics below and plan your trip around peak drive times.
