{"id":406658,"date":"2025-11-26T19:30:14","date_gmt":"2025-11-26T19:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/406658\/"},"modified":"2025-11-26T19:30:14","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T19:30:14","slug":"dallas-turkey-trot-what-streets-are-closing-and-when","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/406658\/","title":{"rendered":"Dallas Turkey Trot: What streets are closing and when"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting at 8:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving, the event is expected to bring 15,000 people, and will impact traffic around Downtown, Deep Ellum and Oak Cliff.<\/p>\n<p>DALLAS \u2014 About 15,000 people are expected to gather Thanksgiving morning in Downtown Dallas for the annual Dallas <a href=\"https:\/\/ymcadallas.org\/turkeytrot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">YMCA Turkey Trot<\/a>, and it&#8217;s going to have a big impact on traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Street closures are starting on Wednesday evening and many will remain in place until Thursday evening. The race will lead to closures around Downtown Dallas, Deep Ellum and Oak Cliff.<\/p>\n<p>Parts of Young Street, two westbound lanes from Field Street to Griffin Street and all lanes from Saint Paul Street to Park Avenue, will be closed from 6 p.m. Wednesday until 5 p.m. Thursday.
