Influencer Pei-Yun Chung<\/a> has been arrested and charged seven times after dining at several New York City restaurants and allegedly leaving without footing the bill.\n<\/p>\n Since Oct. 22, the 35-year-old content creator \u2014\u00a0who shares her restaurant reviews to over 26,000 followers on Instagram \u2014\u00a0has been arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft of services seven times, police told the New York Times<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n She was booked into a Rikers Island detention center on Nov. 23, where she is being held on a $4,500 bail, according to incarceration records viewed by PEOPLE.\n<\/p>\n According to the New York Times, Chung was charged on allegations of failing to pay a $100 bill at Misi, an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, N.Y., a $123 bill at Sea Thai Brooklyn, and most recently, a $149 bill at Mole Mexican Bar & Grill \u2014\u00a0for which she was arraigned on Saturday, Nov. 22.\n<\/p>\n Citing interviews with owners of several restaurants visited by Chung, the New York Times reported that the content creator has a pattern of visiting restaurants, taking many photos of the food she ordered, and then allegedly refusing to foot the bill \u2014\u00a0sometimes asking if she could post photos of the meal on social media instead of paying.\n<\/p>\n Neither Chung nor her lawyers immediately responded to PEOPLE\u2019s request for comment.\n<\/p>\n Liad Matatyahu, the owner of Israeli restaurant 12 Chairs Cafe, where Chung allegedly dined and then left after saying she could not pay, told the Times that the influencer has developed a reputation among local restaurant owners.\n<\/p>\n Never miss a story \u2014 sign up for<\/strong> PEOPLE’s free daily newsletter<\/strong><\/a> to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer\u200b\u200b, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n “Restaurants started to call other restaurants to inform them that this is what\u2019s happening, and this is the picture if she comes in,” he said. \u201cAt least that has been the silver lining, reminding us that we\u2019re strong and connected.”\n<\/p>\n The content creator seemingly last updated her Instagram account on Oct. 23, posting photos<\/a> of a meal from Francie \u2014\u00a0a Michelin-starred brasserie where Chung allegedly dined twice without paying, per the Times.\n<\/p>\n According to N.Y.C. incarceration records, Chung is expected in court for a hearing on Nov. 26.\n<\/p>\n
