Gavin DeGraw<\/a> is set to perform during Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day parade<\/a> on Thursday, Nov. 27.<\/p>\n

The Grammy-nominated singer, best known for hits like \u201cI Don\u2019t Want to Be\u201d and \u201cChariot,\u201d is originally from South Fallsburg, NY.<\/p>\n

DeGraw and Colbie Caillat will perform their new version of the classic duet \u201cLet It Snow,\u201d<\/a> recorded just in time for the holiday season.<\/p>\n

They will be featured on the Palace of Sweets float, sponsored by Brach\u2019s. Additionally, they will be headlining their own limited holiday tour<\/a> this winter, kicking off in December.<\/p>\n

DeGraw launched his music career in New York City with his platinum debut album \u201cChariot\u201d in 2003, though he was born and raised in upstate.<\/p>\n

As he told Naperville Magazine<\/a> in 2018, \u201cThe first barroom I ever played in upstate New York was called the Nowhere Bar, and I used to go there when I was about 15 on school nights, playing gigs with my brother and hanging out and acting like what I felt like a man acted when I was a kid. That\u2019s when I quit sports, because I thought to myself, \u2018This is way cooler than playing basketball.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

A few years later, DeGraw attended Ithaca College<\/a> for one semester before transferring to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied for about a year before dropping out. He then returned home, began writing music, and eventually moved to New York City.<\/p>\n

Other performers at the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade include Foreigner<\/a>, Cynthia Erivo, Jewel, Lil Jon, Lainey Wilson<\/a>, Drew Baldridge, and more. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday, DeGraw expressed his excitement about their performance, writing on Instagram<\/a>, \u201cSee you guys tomorrow with @colbiecaillat for the @macys Thanksgiving Day Parade! Going to be a fun one!\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to his concert stops with Caillat, DeGraw will also be doing a series of East Coast holiday solo shows. He\u2019ll be making stops in Homestead, PA, Washington D.C., Boston, MA, and New York City. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster<\/a>.<\/p>\n
