\nThe Lemon Grove Lions Club received an honorary plaque at a recent Lemon Grove School District meeting. The plaque recognized the club\u2019s involvement, along with other local charitable groups, that collected and distributed backpacks and school supplies to local students. \u201cHelping our youth is helping our future,\u201d said Lemon Grove Lions Club president Ken Burke. The mission of the Lemon Grove Lions Club is to serve the community through projects that support education, vision, hunger relief and local needs.
