{"id":407683,"date":"2025-11-27T05:57:24","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T05:57:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/407683\/"},"modified":"2025-11-27T05:57:24","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T05:57:24","slug":"sundance-square-ornament-returned-nbc-5-dallas-fort-worth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/407683\/","title":{"rendered":"Sundance Square ornament returned \u2013 NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A stolen ornament taken from the Sundance Square Christmas tree was returned early Wednesday morning, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Early Wednesday, around 2:30 a.m., an anonymous person on a motorcycle drove up on the sidewalk around Sundance Square Plaza and handed the ornament off to a passerby, according to a Sundance Square spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>The person asked the passerby to return it to the Sundance Square security team.<\/p>\n<p>The ornament created by Arely Morales was a sentimental piece for the artist. Morales had painted the ornament in memory of her beloved cat.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcdfw.com\/news\/local\/sundance-square-christmas-ornament-stolen-tree\/3949227\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The piece was stolen around 1 a.m. on Sunday.<\/a> A woman was seen on camera jumping out of a dark gray SUV and stealing Morales&#8217; ornament from the tree and taking off with it.<\/p>\n<p>After the ornament&#8217;s safe return, Morales said<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Feeling so happy we\u2019ll get a chance to see it again. Thanks to everyone in the community for all the love and support you&#8217;ve given us, and for helping us get to this point. And to the person who took it, thanks for bringing it back!
