Acclaimed sad British drama We Live in Time<\/a> has now been added to Netflix<\/a> in the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n

The film, which released last year, stars Spider-Man<\/a>‘s Andrew Garfield and Thunderbolts\/The New Avengers<\/a>‘ Florence Pugh as a couple whose relationship we see play out over the course of a decade.<\/p>\n

Told in nonlinear fashion, we see their ups, their downs, and everything in-between.<\/p>\n

The film got plenty of good reviews, currently sitting at 79% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> from 222 reviews, and an 83% user score from 2,000 ratings.<\/p>\n

The consensus is that Garfield and Pugh have excellent chemistry, and that it’s definitely something worth sticking on if you want to have a big old cry.<\/p>\n

In Digital Spy<\/strong>‘s own review<\/a>, we called the film “a pure tearjerker” and wrote: “Despite its irregularities, however, We Live in Time is an affecting romantic drama that will resonate with the audience.<\/p>\n

“After all, the movie is about the devastating knowledge that time can slip through our fingers quicker than we can blink, and it will never feel enough. Nobody said this was going to be a happy one!”<\/p>\n

Empire<\/a> called the two leads a “dynamite duo” while the Sydney Morning Herald<\/a> stated they “deftly sidestep any hint of sentimentality”.<\/p>\n

“A deeply moving and beautifully performed film,” wrote LAist<\/a>, while the Chicago Sun-Times<\/a> called the movie “an old-fashioned weeper, done with heart and originality”.<\/p>\n

Time Out<\/a> praised director John Crowley, stating that he “directs with a light hand and follows the emotion through, to good effect. It feels real, and honest, in a way that too few romantic films manage.”<\/p>\n

We Live in Time is available to stream on Netflix in the UK and Ireland now.<\/strong><\/p>\n
