The driver of the suspect vehicle did not stop, so officers began a pursuit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">LMPD says the driver led officers south into Galveston, where the chase ended in a crash at the Galveston Seawall. Police said the driver died from injuries caused by the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The Galveston County Sheriff&#8217;s Office said it is investigating the crash, while LMPD said it will review the incident to make sure officers followed proper pursuit procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 KTRK-TV.
