Improvements to the battery life are also helpful, even when you’re not in an emergency, with the 41mm lasting 30 hours and the 45mm lasting 40 hours between charges.<\/p>\n

“The design still feels timeless and understated, but the parts that truly make this watch tick are under the surface: its intuitive UI, the seamless syncing with my phone, and the way it works inside the Android ecosystem,” said CNET’s Vanessa Hand Orellana in her Pixel Watch 4 review<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She wrote that the integration with the Fitbit app was a major perk, but those excited about Google’s AI-powered Coach ought to wait for the company to refine it first.<\/p>\n

The best parts of the Pixel Watch 4 are ones you hopefully will never need, Orellana said. The separate face and battery components mean that it will be much easier to repair. The domed, bubble-like design of the watch face is sleek-looking, but it also means it could be easier to accidentally scratch.<\/p>\n
