At least seven people were injured in a shooting in Chicago\u2019s Back of the Yards neighborhood Friday night.<\/p>\n
According to police, two male suspects approached a group of people who were standing outside in the 4800 block of South Justine at approximately 11:11 p.m.<\/p>\n
The two suspects then opened fire, striking multiple victims.<\/p>\n
Two of the victims, a 42-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to area hospitals in critical condition, police said.<\/p>\n
A 27-year-old woman was shot in the left leg, a 21-year-old woman was shot in the right thigh, a 21-year-old man was shot in the right leg and foot, a 29-year-old man was shot in the left arm, and a 25-year-old woman was shot in the left flank, police said. All five were transported to area hospitals in serious condition.<\/p>\n
There was no word on what led up to the shooting, and police are still investigating. No suspects are in custody at this time.<\/p>\n
