Christmas is just around the corner, and \u201cFull House\u201d star Jodie Sweetin<\/a><\/strong> has one wish for Santa regarding President Donald Trump<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sweetin, who portrayed Stephanie Tanner on the beloved ABC sitcom, has been vocal about her stance on Trump, even actively participating in rallies against him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, Trump’s time in office still weighs heavily on Sweetin\u2019s mind, so much so that she wishes for him not to be there anymore.<\/p>\n

While volunteering for a cause, Sweetin was asked about her holiday plans, and she didn’t hold back. She told TMZ<\/a>, \u201cI would be with my mom, making sure that she has the holiday that she desires. Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, when asked what she wanted for Christmas, Sweetin delivered a blunt reply that she wants Trump out of office. \u201cWhat I want for Christmas is a certain [expletive] out of the White House,\u201d Sweetin said confidently.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After sharing her wants, the TV personality was asked why she recently revealed her story about being drunk at Candace Cameron’s wedding. Sweetin replied that it was from her 2009 book, \u201cUnSweetined,\u201d which she chose to turn into an audiobook, and clarified that it was not a new thing.<\/p>\n

Sweetin\u2019s Christmas wish may be bold, but she has always spoken out against the U.S leader.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old joined the rally in Los Angeles for part of the Hands Off demonstration back in April and made a bold statement while at it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As The Blast<\/a> previously reported, Sweetin wore a baseball cap with the inscription “We f-cking hate Donald Trump,” written on it, alongside an all-black ensemble.<\/p>\n

Standing with thousands of demonstrators, Sweetin showed once again that activism is nothing new for her as she took the microphone and addressed the crowd.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She has previously been involved in several social justice demonstrations, including a 2022 abortion rights protest where she was shoved by police.<\/p>\n

Beyond activism, the former \u201cDWTS\u201d competitor has been an open book about her personal struggles. <\/p>\n

A few days ago on “The Skinny Confidential” podcast, Sweetin revisited her dark chapter with hard substances, which started way before she came into the spotlight.<\/p>\n

As The Blast<\/a> covered, Sweetin said her downward spiral started at just 14 years old, when she experienced her first blackout after drinking alcohol.<\/p>\n

“It was at Candace’s wedding, and I was just a blackout drinker,” she recounted of her co-star Candace Cameron Bure’s nuptials. “They would pour a glass of wine… and then they’d get around to pouring more, and I was like, ‘I’ll take a little more, please.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Although she described that first episode as “ugly and embarrassing,” she admitted that something inside her “clicked,” and that moment marked the beginning of a painful journey.<\/p>\n

As Sweetin grew older, her drinking escalated. By 15 or 16, she was actively seeking out people who partied as intensely as she did, distancing herself from friends who urged her to \u201cslow down.\u201d <\/p>\n

She said her mindset at that time was, “I’ve got to go find somebody that I can do these drugs with.”<\/p>\n

Sweetin made it clear that her addiction wasn’t caused by fame. She believes she would have battled substance abuse regardless of Hollywood. However, being a former child star made it difficult, as attention was on her every move. <\/p>\n

She confessed, “It’s very hard when you have to make all your mistakes publicly.”<\/p>\n

While acknowledging that several people struggle with addiction, she admitted that her career did grant her access to rehab and support that she might not otherwise have had.<\/p>\n

Sweetin reflected on her road to recovery, acknowledging that it was long and filled with relapses. <\/p>\n

“I had gone to treatment in my 20s, and then I had kids, and then I got sober, and then I drank again, and then I got sober,” she explained.<\/p>\n

Today, she has been sober from alcohol for 16 years and hasn’t relapsed on medication in 13 years after a car accident.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While her battles made headlines, Sweetin is determined not to be defined by them.
