At 86, he may be the oldest judge in Arizona, but he\u2019s also one of the town\u2019s most dedicated volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>The longtime attorney says he first agreed to serve on the municipal bench \u201cto give back to the town.&#8221; Five years later, he still sees the work as a privilege.<\/p>\n<p>Marks is one of several attorneys who give their time to run Paradise Valley\u2019s all-volunteer municipal court, an uncommon system in Arizona where most jurisdictions require paid and full-time judges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"For more than five decades, Stanley Marks has called Paradise Valley home.
