He finally cracked the Top 100 in June, when he climbed to a career-high No. 99 in the PIF ATP Rankings.<\/p>\n<p>After competing for two years with the Stanford University Cardinals, Basavareddy turned professional last year when he earned his spot in Jeddah. The 20-year-old is the second American who will be returning to the Next Gen ATP Finals in 2025, alongside last year\u2019s runner-up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/learner-tien\/t0ha\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Learner Tien<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/news\/it-all-adds-up-hub\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"It All Adds Up\" style=\"width:100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1764443604_963_it-all-adds-up-banner.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Basavareddy has long been mentored by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/rajeev-ram\/r548\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rajeev Ram<\/a>, the former World No. 1 in doubles and 32-time tour-level doubles champion. Their relationship, which spans over a decade, is rooted in their shared coach, Bryan Smith, and connection to the Indiana tennis community.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 edition of the innovative 20-and-under event will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 17-21 December. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/jakub-mensik\/m0ni\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jakub Mensik<\/a>, Tien, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/alexander-blockx\/b0pg\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alexander Blockx<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/dino-prizmic\/p0hw\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dino Prizmic<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/martin-landaluce\/l0il\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Martin Landaluce<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/nicolai-budkov-kjaer\/b0u4\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nicolai Budkov Kjaer<\/a> have also qualified for the eighth edition of the tournament.
