HGTV<\/a> star Hilary Farr wants her fans to know that she is doing well after recent reports suggested otherwise.<\/p>\n

\u201cTaaa-daaa! I\u2019m alive. Very, very, very much so alive and well. I\u2019m happy to say,\u201d the \u201cLove It or List It\u201d<\/a> alum said in an Instagram video<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

As she spoke, she shared a blown-up version of a news report behind her that showed alleged pictures of her sick and with an oxygen tank on her face, with bold text that read: \u201cShe might not make it.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cLook at this thing,\u201d Farr motioned to the report, before asking, \u201cReally?\u201d It\u2019s so badly done. It\u2019s crazy AI<\/a> stuff,\u201d she confirmed.<\/p>\n

The TV-famous British-Canadian designer continued: \u201cI hope none of you would really take any of this seriously and realize that it is just fake beyond words.\u201d <\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cWell, I\u2019m here to prove that. So, just checking in. All\u2019s good with me; hope all\u2019s good with you.\u201d <\/p>\n

The 74-year-old\u2019s update came after she revealed to People<\/a> in 2021 that she had breast cancer.<\/p>\n

At the time, she explained she was diagnosed with the illness in 2014 and then underwent three lumpectomies and radiation. She is currently in remission. The fake news report that Farr showed had mentioned her cancer. <\/p>\n

In addition to the \u201cshe might not make it claim, the fake report also read: \u201cThe physician caring for Hilary Farr\u2019s cancer has provided a devastating update on her health. \u2018She might never be seen on TV in the future.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

Farr has stepped out of the spotlight in the past few years. Best known for her 19-season run on \u201cLove It or List It\u201d alongside co-host David Visentin, she announced she was leaving the show in December 2023. <\/p>\n

She also began starring in her own HGTV show, \u201cTough Love with Hilary Farr,\u201d which premiered in 2021 and ran for two seasons. Right now, it\u2019s unclear if the show has been canceled or if it will return for more seasons in the future.<\/p>\n

In the comment section of the video, fans rejoiced at Farr\u2019s update. \u201cAlways love to see you alive and well and thriving!\u201d wrote one person. <\/p>\n

Another said, \u201cI\u2019m so relieved and grateful that you\u2019ve set the record straight. It\u2019s awful what some people have chosen to do with AI.\u201d <\/p>\n

A third comment read, \u201cWe love you on \u2018Love It or List It.\u2019 Glad you\u2019re doing great and looking fabulous!\u201d<\/p>\n
