No financial details were disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCounsel Press is a natural fit for our technology platform that is purpose built to drive efficiency and outcomes for litigators,\u201d Mitchell Nathanson, founder and president of Legalex, said in a statement. \u201cTogether, we\u2019re delivering a true one-stop-shop solution for law firms nationwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Align said the acquisition serves as a strategic pillar for Counsel Press\u2019 continued growth in the service of process market, which significantly increases its TAM and creates cross-sell opportunities with Counsel Press\u2019 thousands of litigator customers.<\/p>\n<p>The company said the Legalex platform can integrate with a law firm\u2019s existing case management tools or be offered alongside Counsel Press\u2019 own Case Anywhere solution. The technology also can be leveraged by future process serving add-ons, Align said.<\/p>\n<p>With the addition of Legalex, Counsel Press strengthens its value proposition of simplifying the litigation process while maintaining compliance with the highly nuanced procedural rules of trial courts, appellate courts, and alternative dispute resolution venues, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis acquisition presents an exciting opportunity to enhance our e-filing and service of process capabilities through a scalable, tech-forward platform,\u201d Counsel Press CEO Scott Thompson added. \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to welcome Legalex\u2019s clients into the Counsel Press family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Align Capital said the transaction marks its seventh add-on acquisition since ACP partnered with Counsel Press in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>ACP and Counsel Press said they are focused on pursuing further M&amp;A opportunities across appellate services, process serving, and trial case management.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t miss what\u2019s next.
