Buffalo restored offensive tackle Tylan Grable<\/a> to its active roster from injured reserve on Saturday, and the former Jacksonville State<\/a> standout could be in the Bills\u2019 lineup on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Buffalo will play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday without either of its regular tackles. In last week\u2019s 23-19 loss to the Houston Texans, the Bills lost right tackle Spencer Brown to a shoulder injury and left tackle Dion Dawkins to a concussion, and neither will play against Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n

That likely leaves Buffalo starting swing tackle Ryan Van Demark on the left side and Grable or Chase Lundt on the right. <\/p>\n

Grable spent the first 12 weeks of the season on injured reserve <\/a>after sustaining a concussion in August. He returned to practice on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

After three seasons at Jacksonville State, Grable played two seasons at UCF and joined the Bills in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. As a rookie, Grable played in four games and started one.<\/p>\n

A sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Lundt has played three offensive snaps for Buffalo this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat they lack in experience they will make up for in grit, resilience and their preparation,\u201d Bills coach Sean McDermott said <\/a>about Buffalo\u2019s backup tackles during an appearance on WGR-AM\u2019s \u201cExtra Point Show\u201d on Friday.<\/p>\n

Three players with Alabama football roots were elevated from practice squads on Saturday to active status for Sunday games. Each NFL team can elevate two players from its practice squad to active status for each game.<\/p>\n

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers elevated Marcus Banks (Alabama<\/a>) after he made his NFL debut through an elevation last week. Banks got on the field for nine special-teams plays in the Bucs\u2019 34-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 23. Tampa Bay plays the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Seattle Seahawks elevated running back Velus Jones (Saraland) for Sunday\u2019s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Jones returned eight kickoffs for a 22.9-yard average in five games for the New Orleans Saints earlier this season. He joined the Seahawks\u2019 practice squad on Nov. 18.<\/p>\n

The Jacksonville Jaguars elevated safety Cam\u2019Ron Silmon-Craig (Fultondale) for Sunday\u2019s game against the Tennessee Titans.
