This list is not comprehensive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ongoing projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lane additions on Pollard Boulevard<\/p>\n<p>Project: This project involves the addition of two new lanes to expand capacity. The lanes will be built along the road running from Del Bello Boulevard to 7002 Pollard Blvd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> Pre-inspection began in late November.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> Work started in April with a TBD completion date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $1.8 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding source:<\/strong> developers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Partial rebuild on Sprague Street<\/p>\n<p>Project:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong> This street, from King Street West to Bissell Road, is being rebuilt to improve mobility and make access to nearby neighborhoods safer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> Construction is ongoing. Final paving and cleanup are expected soon.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> Completion is expected by Nov. 28.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $154,000<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding source:<\/strong> February 2024 certificate of obligation issuance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Completed projects<\/p>\n<p>Reconstruction on King Street<\/p>\n<p>Project:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong> This project will see the road from Masters Road to the King Street East and West dead ends, including the intersection at Sprague Street, completely reconstructed to improve drainage and road surface. The reconstruction also widened the roads to make them more passable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> King Street East was fully paved Oct. 31, and King Street West\u2014the side intersecting Sprague Street\u2014was completed by Nov. 10<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> wrapped in November<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $318,000 (King Street East), $233,000 (King Street West)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding source:<\/strong> February 2024 Certificate of Obligation Issuance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Read about some of the latest updates on road and capital projects in Manvel.
