There is more than $1 billion in unclaimed property waiting to be claimed in the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUncovering unclaimed property is like stumbling upon a hidden treasure,\u201d Garrity said. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to partner with local officials to simplify the process for residents to claim what is rightfully theirs. There\u2019s no better time than the holidays to reclaim what\u2019s yours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Treasury staff will help individuals search for unclaimed property, file claims and possibly walk away with money.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the schedule:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Dec. 2, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Rep. Tomlinson\u2019s office, 2424 Bristol Road, Bensalem.<\/p>\n<p>Treasury is working to return more than $5 billion in unclaimed property owed to more than one in 10 Pennsylvanians.
