The flag-burning incident took place during an anti-Israel rally that drew roughly 400 participants who marched through Center City. Protesters scuffled with police, prompting Philadelphia police to call in additional units. Authorities described portions of the march as involving vandalism; multiple arrests were made.<\/p>\n

Nearby in Rittenhouse Square, activists gathered under the \u201cAll Out for Gaza\u201d banner on the same day, with some openly displaying symbols of Hezbollah and Hamas, both designated as terrorist organizations by the United States.<\/p>\n
