The All-Star guard was forced to sit out most of the season after sustaining numerous injuries throughout. But in the 13 games she did play, Clark was as good as ever, averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists.<\/p>\n<p>Clark is no stranger to being a basketball superstar. Even before she was one of the top players in the WNBA, Clark was stealing the show during her college days with the Iowa Hawkeyes. And for the last nine years, she has had a best friend waiting at home in Bella, the family\u2019s golden retriever. She even featured Bella on a pair of Kobe PEs during a game in her second WNBA season, one where she scored a season-high 32 points.<\/p>\n<p>But on Saturday, Clark had some sad news to share, revealing that Bella has died. The Fever star posted numerous photos of her pup on her Instagram story, along with a few messages expressing her love for Bella.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>\u201cwe are gonna miss you puppy \ud83d\udc9b gave us so many good memories \ud83d\udc9b,&#8221; Clark wrote. &#8220;not much changed in 9 years \ud83d\udc9b\ud83d\udc9b\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Clark continues to prep for her return to basketball in 2026, the Fever may have some changes coming their way.
