{"id":41459,"date":"2025-07-05T19:05:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-05T19:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/41459\/"},"modified":"2025-07-05T19:05:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-05T19:05:09","slug":"travis-kelce-reveals-how-teams-will-attack-jaguars-travis-hunter-all-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/41459\/","title":{"rendered":"Travis Kelce reveals how teams will attack Jaguars&#8217; Travis Hunter &#8216;all day&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Travis Hunter was a standout two-way player and a Heisman Trophy winner at the college level. <\/p>\n<p>But in the NFL, well, that\u2019s going to be a completely different beast \u2014 and Travis Kelce knows teams are going to go right after the Jaguars rookie.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fTEPi0Lbmqg&amp;t=5271s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">During an episode of the \u201cBussin\u2019 with the Boys\u201d podcast<\/a>, the Chiefs\u2019 tight end was asked about Hunter \u2014 a wideout and defensive back \u2014 and how his workload would be as a two-way player.<\/p>\n<p>While Kelce said he didn\u2019t know how the Jaguars would divide Hunter\u2019s time, what the tight end did know was how teams will likely attack Hunter while he\u2019s playing as a cornerback on defense.<\/p>\n<p>Travis Kelce believes he knows how teams will try to attack Travis Hunter. They\u2019re going to try and make his day miserable. \u2026 \u201cDude, if he plays corner, they\u2019re just going to run deep balls at him all day,\u201d Kelce continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe wide receivers just take off on him all day. Just to try to get him tired. Why wouldn\u2019t you just attack him that way?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/04\/sports\/travis-hunters-wife-gives-intimate-look-at-couples-honeymoon\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hunter<\/a>, a two-time All-American at Colorado, shone as Division I\u2019s best player this past season after reeling in a Big 12-best 96 catches and 13 touchdowns as a receiver, to go along with 36 tackles, 11 passes defended and four interceptions as a corner.<\/p>\n<p>The Jaguars, at least to start, intend to use the talented Hunter as a two-way player.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RichEisenShow\/status\/1940127467131515100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">During a hit on the \u201cRich Eisen Show\u201d earlier this week<\/a>, Jacksonville\u2019s chief football strategy officer Tony Khan said how excited the team is to get Hunter going as a pro after trading up to select him at No. 2 in the 2025 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n<p>Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Travis Hunter (12) runs during the first organized team activity at Miller Electric Center Monday, May 19, 2025 in Jacksonville, Fla.
