Now it\u2019s just us. You\u2019ll kiss me on the cheek and say \u2018Bye Dyl. We rode this wave together and I loved him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy heart goes out to Kelly and [his daughter] Maddy,\u201d he continued. \u201cJules! I know you\u2019d want me to say something to make you smile \u2014 all the inside jokes. All those years you had my back, and my god, we laughed. My heart is with you. Rest in peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNip\/Tuck,\u201d which aired for six seasons from 2003 to 2010, followed longtime friends Dr. Sean McNamara (Walsh) and Dr. Christian Troy (McMahon), who ran a plastic surgery practice together. <\/p>\n<p>Dylan Walsh, Joely Richardson, Julian McMahon in \u201cNip\/Tuck.\u201d \u00a9Warner Bros\/courtesy Everett Co<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Carlson, who played Kimber Henry\u00a0on medical drama, took to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DLtEphJynaQ\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram on Friday<\/a>, to share her thoughts on the \u201cCharmed\u201d vet\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just heard about the passing of Julian McMahon,\u201d the actress, 49, began in a video, \u201cand I\u2019ve gotten a lot of really nice messages on Instagram and I just checked \u2018cause I was just told and I was trying to verify it, right? Because people can say stuff like that, but it looks to be true \u2014 and oh, my gosh, I\u2019m completely shocked and saddened by it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Touching on his health, Carlson admitted, \u201cI didn\u2019t know he wasn\u2019t well for a while. But I will say my heart goes out to Kelly, his wife, his daughter and\u00a0Brooke Burns, his ex-wife, who they remain close friends and raise their daughter together and I think he has a sister\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dylan Walsh, Vivian Thibes, and Julian McMahon in \u201cNip\/Tuck.\u201d \u00a9Warner Bros\/courtesy Everett Co<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Marine\u201d alum opened up about all of the good times she had portraying McMahon\u2019s wife on the hit FX show.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s tough to process a little bit because he played my on-and-off husband for several years, [he] was a good friend and my acting partner,\u201d Carlson explained. \u201cAnyways, Jules, thank you for a great seven years on\u00a0\u2018Nip\/Tuck\u2019\u00a0together and we had so much fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope he had a peaceful journey. She told The Post on Saturday, \u201cJulian was one of a kind and will be very missed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McMahon\u2019s wife, Kelly, confirmed the heartbreaking news in a\u00a0statement to The Post Saturday morning, noting that the \u201cFantastic Four\u201d actor died in Clearwater, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,\u201d\u00a0she detailed. \u201cJulian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. Getty Images for The Surfer<\/p>\n<p>Kelly asked for privacy during this time but noted she and her family \u201care grateful for the memories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, McMahon starred in the 2024 film \u201cThe Surfer\u201d alongside Nicolas Cage, as well as the 2025 Netflix murder mystery series\u00a0\u201cThe Residence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cage, 61, told The Post on Saturday, \u201cSuch deeply saddening news. I spent six weeks working with Julian, and he was the most talented of actors. Our scenes together on \u201cThe Surfer\u201d were amongst my favorite I have ever participated in, and Julian is one of my favorite people. He was a kind and intelligent man.
