These grants continue TACA\u2019s more than 50 years of investment in the cultural life of North Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The Catalyst Grants support arts organizations of various sizes and a multitude of disciplines, including music, theater, dance, visual arts, and the spoken word.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Romeo-Juliet-pc-Sharen-Bradford-4344-ZF-8683-10785-1-081.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\"Avant Chamber Ballet's &quot;Romeo and Juliet&quot;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tSharen Bradford<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\tSharen Bradford<\/p>\n<p>Avant Chamber Ballet Is a Catalyst Grant recipient.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a rapidly changing world, Dallas\u2019 arts organizations are meeting the moment with ingenuity, grit and boundless creativity,\u201d said Maura Sheffler, Donna Wilhelm Family President and Executive Directorof TACA<strong>.<\/strong> \u201cThrough Catalyst Grants, TACA ensures they have the resources and flexibility to lead \u2014 on their terms. Our commitment is clear: empower the institutions that make Dallas a place of inspiration, innovation, and belonging.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unlike project-specific grants, Catalyst Grants are intentionally unrestricted, meaning recipients have the flexibility to direct funds where they are needed most, whether to launch bold new programming, retain artistic talent, expand access, or simply stabilize their foundation.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s total brings TACA\u2019s cumulative general operating investment to more than $32 million since the organization\u2019s founding, alongsidethe TACA New Works Fund, Pop-Up Grants and strategic arts-specific professional development programs like the Arts Accelerator and the Amplifier Workshops.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a city that is growing in both size and artistic ambition, these funds are essential infrastructure,\u201d Sheffler said<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Generous TACA donors, foundations and sponsors \u2013 both longtime and new \u2013 made the 2025 Catalyst Grants are possible. These unrestricted grants have enabled Soul Rep to invest where we&#8217;ve needed it most, whether it be overhead costs, administrative salaries, artists&#8217; stipends, or production costs. TACA&#8217;s consistent confidence and support have also significantly impacted our steady growth and expanded reach in the community since the pandemic. We see TACA, not as a funder, but as a true partner in our important work,\u201d said Anyika McMillan-Herod, Soul Rep Theatre Company\u2019s Executive Director.<\/p>\n<p>Newer recipients appreciate the investment in their future.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a new recipient, Dallas Film Society is honored and grateful to be among the arts organizations in Dallas County to receive vital unrestricted funding through a TACA Catalyst Grant.
