That&#8217;s when police say she lost control and hit the barrier.<\/p>\n<p>She sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital where she later died.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unclear what caused the crash as this is still an active investigation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is a developing situation and KENS 5 will continue to update this article as we learn more.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s unclear what caused the crash as this is still an active investigation.
