Lyla Walker, heading to Pittsburgh, spent Thanksgiving in Valdosta, Georgia, before making her way to the airport for her return journey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">For mother-daughter duo Jan and Addie Burke, the holiday brought both fun and friendly competition. \u201cWe played card roulette,\u201d Addie shared, with both mother and daughter admitting the game sparked \u201ca little family tension.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">While the weekend saw some flight disruptions, with a handful of delays and at least one cancellation reported on both Saturday and Sunday, most travelers reported smooth itineraries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">For those driving home Monday, AAA warned that peak congestion is expected between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. Travelers planning their return are advised to depart after 8 p.m. for optimal road conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">AAA reminded drivers to remain vigilant for crashes and construction zones, and to move over for emergency vehicles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The organization\u2019s Tow-2-Go program remains available until 6 a.m. Monday as a last-resort option to prevent drunk driving. The service offers rides and vehicle transport to a safe location within a 10-mile radius.
