NEW YORK (PIX11) \u2014 And now, the end is near for the remaining New York City casino<\/a> applicants.<\/p>\n

The New York Gaming Facility Location Board will meet on Monday to vote on who should be awarded casino licenses to operate in the state of New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There are three remaining applicants in the mix <\/a>for licensure in New York, all in the city: two in Queens, one in the Bronx. The fourth applicant that moved on from the Community Advisory Committee stage, MGM Yonkers<\/a>, withdrew from the running in October.<\/p>\n

Four applicants were shot down<\/a> by their respective CACs, including The Avenir and the controversial Caesars Palace Times Square.<\/p>\n

There are three licenses available<\/a> of the seven commercial licenses allotted in New York. That does not mean all three remaining applicants will get their way, though.<\/p>\n

The Board has reviewed a variety of topics<\/a> leading into Monday\u2019s crucial meeting: revenue impact, economic activity and business development, local impact, workforce enhancement and diversity framework.<\/p>\n

Each applicant needs to have passed the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR)<\/a> process as well.<\/p>\n

If Bally\u2019s in Ferry Point, Hard Rock Metropolitan Park<\/a> in Willets Point and Resorts World at Aqueduct Racetrack have met all criteria, then the licenses could be in their hands by midday Monday.<\/p>\n
