{"id":416614,"date":"2025-12-01T06:09:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T06:09:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/416614\/"},"modified":"2025-12-01T06:09:51","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T06:09:51","slug":"part-of-i-95-north-in-philadelphia-to-close-overnight-as-cap-project-work-continues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/416614\/","title":{"rendered":"Part of I-95 North in Philadelphia to close overnight as CAP project work continues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Part of I-95 North in Philadelphia will be closed overnight this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The highway is set to close between Exit 20 (Washington Avenue\/Columbus Boulevard) and Exit 22 (Central Philadelphia\/Callowhill Street), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pa.gov\/agencies\/penndot\/news-and-media\/newsroom\/district-6\/2025\/cap-construction-to-close-i-95-north-at-night-december-1-4-in-ph\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PennDOT announced<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The highway will be closed overnight Monday into Tuesday through Thursday night into Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Closures will be from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>During the closure, drivers will be directed to use the Washington Avenue\/Columbus Boulevard exit and turn left onto Columbus Boulevard to access the ramp to northbound I-95 at Summer Street.<\/p>\n<p>Officials say drivers should allow extra time for delays and backups.<\/p>\n<p>The closure is for line striping operations and barrier removal.
