According to the parish&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/bulletins.discovermass.com\/download.php?bulletin=8NI4hcrsLcXWR5MqNgvvXYAp2%2FP6SewKCdOXOmCa2OBas9oHl806Y4rQSHmZlykIgUasWnb1cDOpu8X9x1%2BX4%2F85Usmxdel9%2FxhgzPppIko%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">most recent bulletin<\/a>, the church has a goal to raise $17 million for the new building.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The pope&#8217;s visit to Turkey<\/p>\n<p>According to the Vatican news agency, Capra&#8217;s visit was part of a pilgrimage to Istanbul to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the foundation of his diocese&#8217;s Redemptoris Mater Seminary. He said it was a coincidence that visit lined up with the pope&#8217;s. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Leo wrapped up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/pope-leo-message-of-peace-to-lebanon-turkey\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">his visit to Turkey<\/a> on Sunday before heading to Lebanon, where he aimed to bring a message of hope to its long-suffering people and bolster a crucial Christian community in the Middle East.
