\n\tRingo Starr is making sure his biopic is just right. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn its recent profile on The Beatles<\/a> drummer, the New York Times<\/a> reported that Starr met with director Sam Mendes<\/a> to discuss his own biopic. Over \u201ctwo days,\u201d Starr went over the script with Mendes \u201cline by line\u201d and offered \u201cextensive notes\u201d to make sure it was as true to life as possible. One particular area of focus was on Starr\u2019s family and first marriage to Maureen Starkey Tigrett.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe had a writer \u2014 very good writer, great reputation, and he wrote it great, but it had nothing to do with Maureen and I,\u201d Starr explained. \u201cThat\u2019s not how we were. I\u2019d say, \u2018We would never do that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStarr added that he was much more comfortable with his depiction after the edit session and trusted Mendes to carry through with the vision.<\/p>\n

\n\tStarr added, \u201cBut he\u2019ll do what he\u2019s doing and I\u2019ll send him peace and love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMendes plans to release four Beatles biopics in April 2028<\/a>, each one from a different band member\u2019s perspective. The project is titled \u201cThe Beatles \u2013 A Four-Film Cinematic Event.\u201d It is currently unknown if the movies will come out all at once or be released once per week throughout April.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for casting, Paul Mescal will play Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn will portray George Harrison, Barry Keoghan is Starr and Harris Dickinson will play John Lennon.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe logline for the four-part saga reads, \u201cEach man has his own story, but together they are legendary.\u201d<\/p>\n
