Brooklyn Mirage<\/a> has cancelled more scheduled shows as the New York venue’s planned reopening continues to face delays.\nAmong the cancelled shows are a four-date Black Coffee residency, which was originally set to begin on July 3rd, per Stereogum. Two sold-out Excision shows scheduled for July 17th and 18th have been moved to a different Avant Gardner venue, The Great Hall, which has roughly half the capacity of Mirage’s outdoor space. <\/p>\n
The Brooklyn venue, which has been closed for renovations since early 2025, had initially planned to open on May 1st. But since then, the space has been plagued with a series of delays<\/a>\u2014an official opening date remains unconfirmed. On May 23rd, former Brooklyn Mirage CEO Josh Wyatt was fired<\/a> from the company. <\/p>\nResident Advisor has reached out to the venue for comment.
