{"id":418783,"date":"2025-12-02T05:15:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-02T05:15:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/418783\/"},"modified":"2025-12-02T05:15:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T05:15:13","slug":"walk-of-fame-star-honoring-emmy-winning-actress-sarah-paulson-to-be-unveiled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/418783\/","title":{"rendered":"Walk of Fame Star Honoring Emmy-Winning Actress Sarah Paulson to be Unveiled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is set to be unveiled Tuesday honoring Sarah Paulson for a television acting career that has brought her an Emmy and eight other nominations.<\/p>\n<p>Paulson\u2019s partner and fellow Emmy-winner Holland Taylor, along with actress Amanda Peet, are set to speak at the 11:30 a.m. ceremony at 6533 Hollywood Blvd., near Hudson Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Paulson and Peet were castmates in the 1999-2001 WB comedy-drama \u201cJack &amp; Jill,\u201d the 2006-07 NBC comedy-drama \u201cStudio 60 on the Sunset Strip\u201d and the 2006 romance film, \u201cGriffin &amp; Phoenix.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony comes during the first season of the Hulu legal drama \u201cAll\u2019s Fair,\u201d in which Paulson is a cast member and an executive producer.<\/p>\n<p>The star is next to that of Ryan Murphy, a creator, executive producer, director and writer of \u201cAll\u2019s Fair\u201d and several other projects in which Paulson has appeared \u2014 most notably nine seasons of the FX horror anthology series, \u201cAmerican Horror Story,\u201d that brought her five Emmy nominations.<\/p>\n<p>The star is the 2,829th since the completion of the Walk of Fame in 1961 with the initial 1,558 stars.<\/p>\n<p>All Walk of Fame ceremonies are streamed on walkoffame.com, and can later be seen on <a href=\"https:\/\/mynewsla.com\/hollywood\/2025\/12\/01\/walk-of-fame-star-honoring-emmy-winning-actress-sarah-paulson-to-be-unveiled\/mailto:YouTube.com\/@HwdWalkofFame\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube.com\/@HwdWalkofFame<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Born Dec. 17, 1974 in Tampa, Florida, and raised in New York City, Paulson made her Broadway debut during the 1993-94 run of the original production of \u201cThe Sisters Rosensweig\u201d as the replacement understudy for Amy Ryan in the role of teenage idealist Tess Goode.<\/p>\n<p>Paulson made her television debut in a 1994 episode of \u201cLaw &amp; Order\u201d as the stepdaughter of a man suspected of killing his wife.<\/p>\n<p>Her film debut came in the 1997 fantasy drama \u201cLevitation,\u201d starring as a pregnant teenager who searches for her biological mother with the help of a guardian angel.<\/p>\n<p>Paulson\u2019s first role as a series cast member came in the 1995-96 CBS horror series \u201cAmerican Gothic\u201d as the slain sister of an orphan (Lucas Black) who appears to him as a ghost to guide him in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p>She received her Emmy in 2016 for outstanding lead actress in a limited series or movie for her portrayal of prosecutor Marcia Clark in \u201cThe People v O.J. Simpson,\u201d the first season of the FX biographical crime drama anthology series \u201cAmerican Crime Story,\u201d in which Murphy was among the executive producers and directors.<\/p>\n<p>The nomination was one of two Paulson received in 2016.
