\n\tThe Morning Show<\/a>, with its dramatic exploration of current events through the lens of a popular broadcast news program on the fictitious network UBA, shows no signs of slowing its pace, says star Jennifer Aniston<\/a>, who teased an \u201cemotional\u201d forthcoming fourth season of the Apple TV+<\/a> series. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Morning Show\u00a0is just a beast to film,\u201d she told People recently<\/a>. \u201cIt is layered, it\u2019s complicated, it\u2019s emotional, it hits on a lot of topics and current events, so let\u2019s just say, it\u2019s not\u00a0Friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAniston, who also executive produces the series alongside fellow co-star Reese Witherspoon, said wearing dual hats on The Morning Show \u201ctakes a lot out of you.\u201d She continued, \u201cWe\u2019re involved in every single aspect of the show, on top of just the performance side, which is a big piece of it. But I\u2019ve got incredible support, and we have such an incredible team.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter filming on Season 4 wrapped in December 2024, Aniston told the outlet earlier this year that production on the latest installment \u201cwas so hard,\u201d teasing, \u201cBut it\u2019s a great season. It\u2019s jam-packed, that\u2019s for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile plot details are still sparse<\/a>, new cast members are soon to enter the fray, including\u00a0Marion Cotillard<\/a> and Aaron Pierre<\/a>, who will join an ensemble cast also featuring Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, N\u00e9stor Carbonell, Karen Pittman and Greta Lee. <\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 3 followed the gargantuan merger between UBA and rival network YDA, as well as the introduction of Jon Hamm\u2019s duplicitous space\/tech billionaire Paul Marks, who struck up a romance with Aniston\u2019s Alex. Meanwhile, Witherspoon\u2019s Bradley\u2019s status as a journalist hangs in the balance after she chose not to reveal the video evidence of her brother having participated in the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.<\/p>\n

\n\tPreviously, showrunner Charlotte Stoudt told Deadline at the Contender\u2019s TV event that next season would explore\u00a0deepfakes and artificial intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe blew everything up last year with the biggest bomb we could possibly build,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cSo, we have to ask ourselves how is the band going to get\u00a0back\u00a0together, and what will that look like? We get into the world of deepfakes and AI and the misinformation in the fog of war that we\u2019re seeing now in the Middle East and stuff. We\u2019re looking at who can trust. And can you trust what you\u2019re seeing? Can you trust yourself? Can you trust your news outlet?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
