{"id":418978,"date":"2025-12-02T07:26:14","date_gmt":"2025-12-02T07:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/418978\/"},"modified":"2025-12-02T07:26:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T07:26:14","slug":"asias-factories-stumble-as-us-trade-deals-fail-to-revive-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/418978\/","title":{"rendered":"Asia&#8217;s\u00a0Factories\u00a0Stumble as US Trade Deals Fail to Revive Demand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"161\" height=\"41\" src=\"https:\/\/gcaptain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/reuters_logo1.jpg\" alt=\"reuters logo\" class=\"wp-image-83846\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Dec 1 (Reuters)\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Asia\u2019s\u00a0manufacturing powerhouses struggled with sluggish demand in November, extending declines in factory activity as progress in U.S. trade negotiations failed to translate into a significant recovery in orders.<\/p>\n<p>A raft of purchasing managers\u2019 indexes (PMIs) on Monday showed diverging conditions across the region, with China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan all reporting declines in activity while Southeast Asian economies mostly saw growth.<\/p>\n<p>In China, the world\u2019s largest manufacturer, factory activity slipped back into contraction, a\u00a0private-sector PMI showed, a day after Beijing\u2019s official measure showed activity falling for the\u00a0eighth consecutive month\u00a0albeit at a slower pace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cContainer throughput at Chinese ports was little changed last month compared to October.
