\n\tAs Americans return to their routines after Thanksgiving, Jon Stewart<\/a> returned to The Daily Show<\/a> to unpack Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s unhinged holiday address.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing Trump\u2019s divisive Thanksgiving day post<\/a>, in which he called Minnesota\u2019s Gov. Tim Walz<\/a> \u201cseriously re****ed,\u201d the comedian called out the president over the casual use of the ableist slur, which Trump doubled down shortly after.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOn Thanksgiving?! Are you confusing that with Festivus?\u201d he reacted. \u201cAnd by the way, \u2018seriously re****ed?\u2019 Not even \u2018playfully re****ed\u2019 like Mr. Bean, you know what I mean? Or not even \u2018celebratorily re****ed\u2019 like the Black Eyed Peas song? Yeah, they\u2019re very lucky that \u2018started\u2019 rhymes with it.<\/p>\n

\n\tStewart continued, \u201cThe press corps had to spend the whole holiday weekend down at Mar-a-Lago, listening to this brain ooze, and then, they couldn\u2019t even go back home by themselves. They had to fly back with this nut and ask him if he wants to clarify any of the nonsense.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhat is happening?! When Ken Burns does the documentary on this era\u2026\u201d said Stewart, narrating the situation in his best Burns impression.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn what started as \u201ca very happy Thanksgiving salutation,\u201d Trump ended up calling Walz \u201cseriously re****ed\u201d in the Truth Social<\/a> post. He later doubled down that \u201cthere\u2019s something wrong with Walz<\/a>,\u201d whose son has a non-verbal learning disorder.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is what Donald Trump has done,\u201d Walz said in response on Meet the Press<\/a>. \u201cHe has normalized this type of hateful behavior and this type of language. At first, I think it\u2019s just because he\u2019s not a good human being. But secondly, to distract from his incompetency.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWalz added, \u201cMany times, it\u2019s just about being decent to people and making them feel included. You can use that word. Sure, you can use that language. But you shouldn\u2019t.
