\n\tTriple threat Gary Dauberman<\/a>, who has had a hand in the making of some of the biggest horror franchises of the past decade, has signed with WME<\/a> for representation<\/a> in all areas.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continues to be repped by manager Kathleen Remington and attorney Eric Suddleson of\u00a0Felker Toczek. <\/p>\n

\n\tAs a screenwriter, director and producer, Dauberman has had his name on the blood-soaked marquee alongside James Wan, Andy Muschietti, David F. Sandberg and Stephen King, among others.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe penned Warner Bros. 2017 film adaptation of King\u2019s beloved novel\u00a0It, directed by Muschietti.\u00a0The New Line film broke box office records including biggest horror opening ever.\u00a0\u00a0Dauberman wrote and executive produced the film\u2019s box office-smash sequel,\u00a0It: Chapter Two, which was released in 2019.\u00a0Combined, the films earned over $1.1 billion worldwide.<\/p>\n

\n\tWorking in the Conjuring universe, Dauberman wrote Conjuring spinoffs\u00a0Annabelle;\u00a0Annabelle: Creation;\u00a0and\u00a0Annabelle Comes Home as well as The Nun, which became the highest-grossing entry of the Conjuring franchise at the time.<\/p>\n

\n\tDauberman made his directorial debut with\u00a0Annabelle Comes Home, while his second directorial effort was an adaptation of King\u2019s Salem\u2019s Lot, which starred Lewis Pullman and which he also executive produced.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tDauberman\u2019s banner, Coin Operated, has a first-look deal with Sony and is just as prolific. Earlier this year the company produced\u00a0Until Dawn, the feature adaptation of the PlayStation game directed by Sandberg based on a script by Dauberman and Blair Butler.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the projects in development are Urban Legend, a modern era reboot of the Screen Gems 1990s movie of the same name with Shanrah Wakefield set to write the script; Ushers, based on Joe Hill\u2019s short story set up at Screen Gems; and a Gargoyles live-action series for Disney+.<\/p>\n

\n\tDauberman, who was previously with CAA, is currently in post-production producing\u00a0The Revenge of La Llorona\u00a0for New Line and an untitled horror film directed by Andr\u00e9 Ovredal that stars Melissa Leo.
