{"id":420462,"date":"2025-12-02T22:41:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-02T22:41:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/420462\/"},"modified":"2025-12-02T22:41:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T22:41:13","slug":"lane-kiffins-daughter-trolls-angry-football-fans-after-dad-leaves-ole-miss-for-lsu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/420462\/","title":{"rendered":"Lane Kiffin\u2019s daughter trolls \u2018angry football fans\u2019 after dad leaves Ole Miss for LSU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lane Kiffin\u2019s job saga is \u201cnot that deep,\u201d according to his daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Landry Kiffin, a sophomore at Ole Miss, shared a message with those upset that <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/11\/30\/sports\/lane-kiffin-bolting-ole-miss-for-lsu-as-lengthy-saga-finally-concludes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">her dad bolted from Ole Miss<\/a> to take the head coach job at LSU on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWish I could be as creative as angry football fans,\u201d Landry wrote in text over the video, adding a heart hands emoji. <\/p>\n<p>Landry, who lifted her sunglasses and held up a peace sign, used the hashtag, \u201cit\u2019s not that deep,\u201d in her caption. <\/p>\n<p>She also liked a bunch of comments defending her father\u2019s decision to leave the Rebels on the cusp of the College Football Playoff after six years at the helm.<\/p>\n<p>Landry Kiffin reacted to those upset over Lane Kiffin leaving Ole Miss to take the head coach job at LSU.  TikTok\/Landry Kiffin<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry but if someone offered me 90 million\u2026 BOY BYE,\u201d one person wrote, referring to Kiffin\u2019s seven-year contract with LSU that will pay him $13 million annually. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople need to realize it\u2019s his job like it\u2019s basically like he got a promotion,\u201d another said. <\/p>\n<p>LSU new head coach Lane Kiffin speaks at his introductory press conference at South Stadium Club at Tiger Stadium on December 1, 2025. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>A decision on Kiffin\u2019s future was expected to be revealed on Saturday, following the Rebels\u2019 38-19 Egg Bowl victory over Mississippi State on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Kiffin announced he was taking his talents to Baton Rouge in a social media post on Sunday. Matthew Hinton-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear if Landry will transfer from Ole Miss to LSU.<\/p>\n<p>Her boyfriend, Whit Weeks, is one of the nation\u2019s top linebackers and in his third season with the Tigers.<\/p>\n<p>The couple\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/22\/sports\/lane-kiffins-daughter-announces-shes-dating-lsus-whit-weeks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">made their relationship public<\/a>\u00a0in a post on Instagram in September.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Landry moved from Los Angeles to Oxford to finish high school, and enrolled at Ole Miss \u2014 while her dad was being courted by other programs after back-to-back winning seasons with the Rebels.<\/p>\n<p>In \u201cThe Many Lives of Lane Kiffin,\u201d the ESPN E:60 documentary,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/24\/sports\/how-lane-kiffins-daughter-convinced-him-to-stay-at-ole-miss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kiffin said<\/a>\u00a0Landry convinced him to stay at Mississippi after he contemplated taking the job at Auburn in 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Lane Kiffin\u2019s job saga is \u201cnot that deep,\u201d according to his daughter.
