Sitting on the corner of North Sangamon Street near the viral grocery store Gangnam Market, the new structure will replace an existing three-story loft building most recently used as office space for various design firms.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/930-W-Huron-01-1024x675.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"675\" class=\"size-large wp-image-83975\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Site context map for 930 W Huron St via Google Maps<\/p>\n<p>The project is being led by developer BD Group, working with 360 Design Studio on the design. The structure will rise six stories and 77 feet in height. Of these, seven will be designated as affordable. As mentioned in our <a href=\"https:\/\/chicagoyimby.com\/2025\/10\/plans-revealed-for-residential-development-in-river-west.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">original article<\/a> on the project, many of the units will feature internal bedrooms that utilize borrowed light. Although no renderings have been released, the building will be clad in a brick fa\u00e7ade with stone details. Now that the project has been fully approved, the team will need to apply for building permits before moving forward.
