{"id":422201,"date":"2025-12-03T16:58:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T16:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/422201\/"},"modified":"2025-12-03T16:58:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T16:58:13","slug":"house-prices-to-decrease-next-year-in-these-22-cities-according-to-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/422201\/","title":{"rendered":"House prices to decrease next year in these 22 cities, according to report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON (TNND) \u2014 Home prices in 2026 are expected to dip in 22 U.S. cities, along with mortgage rates, according to a  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtor.com\/news\/trends\/housing-forecast-2026-mortgage-rates-affordability-improves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Realtor.com analysis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Jake Krimmel, a senior economist at Realtor.com, said that the real estate market will likely become more \u201cbuyer friendly\u201d next year and the housing market will be more balanced.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;2026 is going to be a year where we think the market is going to steady,&#8221; Krimmel said, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/housing-market-forecast-2026-price-declines-real-estate-mortgage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to CBS News<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s going to show a lot of signs of getting back on track to what we consider to be normal.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The places where <a href=\"https:\/\/thenationaldesk.com\/news\/nation-world\/sellers-are-pulling-their-homes-off-the-market-instead-of-agreeing-to-reduce-prices-housing-prices-mortgage-rates-delistings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">housing prices<\/a> are expected to dip are in the southeast and the west.
